CET's TranSys System deployed at Xuanhua Steel Group conquered various difficult conditions at the construction site including high temperature, dustiness and strong magnetic interference. The TranSys installation employs dual redundancy architecture where two server computers and dual networking are deployed, providing fault tolerance and auto-switching with hot standby capability. In the event of a fault, either at the server or at one of the networking backbones, the system will not be affected and will continue to provide user access to the necessary information for the facility to carry out its operations with no interruption. Further, the PMC series protection and metering instruments are capable of storing events and data in its on-board, non-volatile memory, providing an additional level of data security. CET's TranSys System brings the various components together to form a coherent automation system that helps improve the power system reliability and keep the facility running 24x7.
