The Luoyang Wanda Shopping Mall project in the Henan Province, with a ¥700 million RMB investment and a total floor area of 110,000m², is an important part of the business battle for the commercial real estate market for the Wanda Group in China. The Luoyang Wanda Shopping Mall has a total floor area of 110,000 m² and a loading capacity of 13-15 MVA. The mall has 3 internal electrical distribution rooms (number of external distribution rooms are yet to be determined), 10 LV incomers, 5 tie breakers, 10 capacitor compensation devices as well as 412 LV outgoing feeders and standby circuits. A shopping mall of this scale, designed with the smooth, un-constrained and safe movement of large number of shoppers in mind, consumes a significant amount of power and employs diverse electrical devices. The property owner and the electrical management personnel have brought forward stringent requirements for such aspects as fire safety, security and reliability of power supply, automation level, demand management and energy conversation analysis for the shopping mall’s electrical distribution system.
