Power Plant

A new thermal power plant is responsible for the supply of electricity and gas for the entire factory and has a output capacity of 2x30MW. It has one 110kV main substation and five 6kV distribution substations. The design requires all 6kV substations to be un-manned and managed by the 110kV main substation. The farthest 6kV substation from the main substation is over 2km away. Therefore, the substation automation system is required to manage a group of dispersedly located distribution substations. Its main objectives are to help the customer achieve protection, monitoring and control of the entire electrical supply system, improve automation proficiency and operational management, reduce maintenance cost and enhance the company's competitiveness.
