As technology advances, comprehensive substation automation is rapidly becoming a trend for achieving better safety and reliability for un-manned substations, reducing operational costs as well as increasing overall competitiveness.

CET has been engaged in the development of the comprehensive substation automation system since the early 1990s and has secured a large install base in various industries such as petroleum, chemical, non-ferrous metallurgy, steel, and utlity.  We have accumulated valuable engineering experience from the application of our system at different voltage levels such as 500kV, 220kV, 110kV and 380V, often under difficult environmental conditions including high plateau, strong magnetic interference, locations with significant temperature differences and corrosive environment.  CET has become the acknowledged leader in the industry with our thorough understanding of the industrial and utility requirements for special wiring configurations as well as  specialized equipment like rectifying transformers, harmonics control devices, high and low-voltage motors, thermoelelectric devices, generators and the automatic deployment of backup power supply in multi-circuit systems.

The TranSys comprehensive substation automation system employs a distributed, modular and hierarchical architecture with redundancy and hot standby capabilities in its PecStar Integrated Automation Software and advanced digital protection and monitoring devices as its core hardware components.  In addition, its support of multiple networking structures allows it to be deployed in almost any situations and at any voltage levels.  Our system can be applied to a wide variety of power automation applications that require protection, monitoring, control, energy management and power quality analysis.
